Personal Health

The Personal Health Division of LaSalle County Health Department has on staff, Registered Nurses, a Personal Health Educator, Program Specialists, and Program Assistants who provide health care services in a variety of settings. Please note *There is no Physician on staff and we do not do medical exams or dispense medication. Within this division, there are three categories of health care - Family Health - that includes: Family Case Management (FCM) and Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), Communicable Disease - that encompasses: TB, HIV, and STDs, and Health Promotion - consisting of IL Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP), Tobacco Prevention, and Blood Pressure Monitoring Program.  Additional information on educational presentations and pamphlets can be found by visiting the Health Education site.

Immunization Clinics

• The health department provides adult and childhood vaccines.
• The health department provides travel vaccines and information specific to where you are traveling.
• The health department can bill vaccines to most private insurance companies.
